Have you ever sat with a decision and wondered, “God, is this You… or just me?”
Whether it’s starting a business, joining a trading program, quitting a job, or investing in something new — we all reach points where we don’t just want to make money… we want to make moves with peace.
That’s why hearing God’s voice in our financial decisions isn’t just a luxury — it’s a necessity.
Please note: I am not a financial advisor. Everything I share is based on personal experience and spiritual conviction. My goal is to help you seek clarity and confidence through faith and wisdom.
🙋🏾♀️ My Journey with Confusion and Confirmation
There were seasons where I jumped into things just because I saw others succeeding. And many times, those decisions left me stressed, frustrated, and broke.
But when I slowed down… when I took it to God first, everything shifted.
For example:
I didn’t just wake up and start trading — I prayed through every step.
When I left my job, I didn’t just quit on a whim — I waited until I had a sense of release.
Even the free businesses I started (Print-on-Demand, KDP, digital products), I asked, “Lord, is this wise for me right now?”
And over time, I learned that God doesn’t always shout — sometimes, He leads through peace, alignment, and timing.
🧭 5 Ways to Hear God’s Voice in Financial Decisions
Here are five ways I’ve learned to discern God’s leading when it comes to money, business, and next steps.
1. Check the Fruit, Not Just the Feeling
Feelings come and go. But fruit remains.
Ask:
Will this bring peace or pressure?
Will this build something sustainable?
Will this allow me to serve, or is it rooted in fear or greed?
God’s direction often leads to clarity and stability — not confusion and chaos.
2. Make Room for Silence
Sometimes we can’t hear God because we’re too busy asking everyone else.
Turn off the noise — the DMs, the YouTube reviews, the chat groups — and get quiet.
In that stillness, God often drops the exact word, strategy, or confirmation you’ve been needing.
3. Use the Word as Your Filter
God won’t lead you in a direction that contradicts His Word.
📖 Scriptures that anchor my decisions:
“The blessing of the Lord makes rich, and He adds no sorrow with it.” (Proverbs 10:22)
“Commit your plans to the Lord, and your thoughts will be established.” (Proverbs 16:3)
“My sheep hear My voice…” (John 10:27)
If the opportunity requires dishonesty, manipulation, or rushing out of fear — it’s not from God.
4. Look for Peace, Not Just Opportunity
Not every “open door” is God’s door.
Sometimes, the best decision is the one that brings deep peace — even if it doesn’t seem glamorous on the outside.
Ask yourself:
If I move forward, will I be able to sleep at night, or will I be anxious and unsettled?
Peace is often the signal that God is present in the process.
5. Give God a Yes Before the Outcome is Clear
One of the most powerful prayers I ever prayed was this:
“Lord, I’ll say yes to Your plan — even before I see the full picture.”
That’s when doors started opening. Not because I had it all figured out — but because I trusted Him to lead me one step at a time.
🙌 Real-Life Example: How I Started Earning Consistently
When I started trading, publishing books, and creating digital products, I didn’t have much. But every step was rooted in:
Prayer
Peace
A desire to give value
Eventually, I took the money I earned from free or low-cost businesses, and I reinvested in subscriptions, tools, coaching, and courses that helped me grow.
Now, by God’s grace, there are days I earn $10K+ — not because I hustled harder, but because I obeyed faster.

💬 Final Encouragement
If you’re unsure what to do next — pause. Pray. Surrender.
Don’t let pressure push you. Let peace lead you.
God cares about your finances. He cares about your business. And He will guide you — if you give Him the space to speak.
